Important Health and Safety Rules for groups at the Folk Hall Portishead and North Weston Village Hall:

Extremely Important
You must not attend if you or anyone in your household has had Covid 19 symptoms in the last 7 days. These include a high temperature, new continuous cough, loss of taste/smell.   If you develop symptoms within 7 days of the group session you MUST use the Test, Track and Trace system.  You MUST PLEASE also let me know so I can inform the Town Council, Public Health Authority and all the group members.  We are really dependent on each other for the safety of the group and our families.

Do not come if you are feeling unwell at all with anything - you must let me know via e mail or text.  You will not pay for the session.
If I am unwell I will send an email to everyone booked onto the session - remember it could be that morning so check your e mail before you leave home.

Rules to keep us all safe at the halls
The Folk hall and North Weston Hall are operating on a one-way system.  At the Folk Hall you enter via the council offices door and come into the hall via the internal door.  Exit is via main hall doors.  At North Weston entry is via the front door and exit via the rear fire escape door.
Follow the markings on the floor.  You must keep 2 metres apart from everyone else when entering the hall.
You must use the sanitiser provided on entry and exit.

The chairs will have been cleaned the night before.  Numbers have been restricted to allow for social distancing.  We aim to sit in a large circle with a 2 metre space between you and the next person.  If you do not arrive in time to join the circle, please take a chair and make sure you are 2 metres behind someone in the circle.  There will be 2 tables for music cases and personal belongings if you are not comfortable with putting them on the floor.  If they are on the floor be careful not to create a trip hazard.  The floor is cleaned at the end of each day and we are the first group in the morning.

You must wear a face covering whilst entering and exiting the building and when walking around it but if it is uncomfortable whilst seated and playing, you can remove it.  Replace it to talk.
We must keep the doors/windows open during the session - wear appropriate clothing to avoid getting cold
Only one person in the toilet facility at a time - One ladies and one gents at Folk Hall and in North Weston Hall there is a ladies, a gents and a disabled facility.

Bring your own flask or water bottle if you want a drink as the kitchen is out of bounds.

You must not share music stands or tablets unless you are from the same household.
