The group is open to all melody
instruments and you can come at any time between 6.30 and 9.30 and stay
for as little or as long as you like - the fee will be £8 per person.
6.30 - 7.30 - slow to suit absolute
beginners
7.30 - 8.30 - learning a new tune
by ear - although music and tab will be available as a reminder
8.30 - 9.30 - playing tunes of your
choice around the table - should be ideal for returning players -
if you come earlier you will be able to learn some new tunes but the
pace will be a slower than the Tuesday group.

who are coming along to the Wednesday music club.
Each week the names of the tunes we covered
the previous week will be posted
and you can then go to the Tunes
A-Z Index to hear an audio recording and
print out the written music. If you would like it in an other format, eg tab, fingering or abc, please e
mail me.
Usually the following week's tune will also
be posted, so you can listen to it before coming along. This is merely a guide and starting point to
playing the tune. It is better for you to listen to the tune until you
are able to lilt it rather than trying to play it before the group.
